Research has shown that the vast majority of older people wish to remain living in their own homes for as long as possible. Homecare services are a fundamental part of the continuum of care necessary to help older people remain living at home, independently for as long as possible.  People are happier and live longer in their own home and as a result homecare packages are designed to promote independence within a safe and comfortable environment.

Tax Relief:

To enable people to live at home independently for as long as possible, there are a number of Homecare relief packages available, for example, Homecare grants.  Tax relief can be claimed subject to conditions.  As a HSE recognised service provider the Homecare packages offered are exempt from VAT, making the services provided even more cost effective than before.
