    This service provides a pleasant experience where clients feel cared for and safe in their own home environment. Each client is valued and treated respectfully.

    Services we Provide:

    Personal Care

    • Promoting independence and choice
    • Assisting with dressing
    • Assisting with getting in and out of bed
    • Assistance with toileting/continence care
    • Assistance with everyday living
    • Giving Social support

    Practical Care

    • Meal Planning
    • Meal Preparation, serving and clearing away
    • Laundry and Ironing
    • Making and Changing beds
    • Lighting Fire
    • Light Household duties


    Day Sits

    • This allows the family to have a break whether it is for an hour or the entire day.
    • Taking the Client for a walk
    • Reading to a Client
    • Assisting with daily living


    Night Sits

    This allows the family to get full nights sleep knowing that their loved one is safe under the watchful eye of the Irish HomeCare Carer.

    Structured Sits

    This programme of care is specifically designed around early and middle stages of Alzheimer and Dementia Clients.

    • Playing mind stimulating games
    • Reminisce about the past
    • Participate in crafts
    • Play games/cards
    • Going for a walk
    • Assist with shopping


    Family Support

    This programme of care is designed to help the family learn the everyday skills needed to develop and maintain a daily routine in the caring of a family member

    Skills include:

    • How to bath someone
    • How to get someone on and off the commode
    • How to get someone in and out of a chair
    • How to give a bed bath
    • How to move someone safely without injuring themselves or the person they are caring for


    All the above are basic skills which a family member may need to be taught.
